Summer Solstice, Women of Coffee: Peru, Grizzly Peak

Three coffees, three good reasons to drink them. Please note: gift sets are whole bean only with no substitutions.

Summer Solstice is our newest seasonal blend. Named for the shortest night and longest day of the year, Summer Solstice is the perfect compliment for the warmer season. A time when we seek carefree adventures, experience these moments with a radiantly refreshing cup.

Women of Coffee: Peru is produced entirely by women farmers at origin — growers whose expertise, stewardship, and labor shape every aspect of the harvest. This lot is a direct expression of their work, and a reason to know the name behind the cup.

Grizzly Peak is a first for Sightglass, our inaugural Regenerative Organic Certified® coffee. ROC goes beyond organic: it's a standard built around restoring soil health, supporting biodiversity, and treating farming as a system that gives back more than it takes. We're proud to offer it, and prouder still of what it represents for the future of how coffee is grown.

⚠️ You’ve selected ground coffee.
Your order will arrive pre-ground, not whole bean.

FAQ

Are you really roasting to order?

Yes! We roast your coffee after you order to guarantee you receive it at peak freshness. On rare occasions, we may have small batches of pre-roasted coffee available—this is always clearly indicated on the product page under the roasting schedule section. Either way, you're getting exceptionally fresh coffee.

How is your coffee sourced?

The production of exceptional coffees is a collaborative, meticulous and multi-faceted effort. All coffees are sourced in freshly harvested lots through direct relationships with producers and cooperatives committed to quality and sustainable business practices.

We travel to origin throughout the year, exploring new coffee sources, checking in with cherished producers, and offering premiums for quality. The long-standing partnerships we nurture are built upon trust—trust that our producers will convey to us what they need to thrive and trust that we will do everything we can to support them. Visit Our Company page to learn more about our sourcing practices.

Are all your coffees organic?

Most of the coffee that we source annually is certified Organic. These coffees go into classic blends like Blueboon, Toketee, Owl's Howl, Banner Dark, Crown Point, and Hunky Dory.

On our single origin menu, Worka Chelbessa from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia is certified Organic. We purchase other single origin coffees yearly with Organic certifications but are often sold as conventional coffees.

How long does your coffee stay fresh?

Sightglass coffee tastes best up to six weeks after the roast date printed on the back of the sealed bag. Once opened, we recommend you use the coffee within two weeks for optimal freshness. Coffee will taste best when ground immediately before brewing.

How many cups are in a bag?

Using the recipe that we use in our café, each 12oz bag makes 17 cups of coffee: just the right amount for one person to use in two weeks or for a pair of coffee drinkers to enjoy in a week.

Each 2LB bag makes 45 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in 3 weeks for two people.

Each 5LB bag makes 113 cups of coffee - just the right amount for one person to use in 8 weeks for two people.

    Peru

Tasted great in the morning. Didn't any milk. Not bitter or burnt. Women majority co-ops in Peru are because many men have left farming to find work in the cities or Norte. The women have to farm, run business, and raise families.

    My new favorite

The notes of this roast are absolutely delightful. The persimmon adds a bit of brightness that I find refreshing and unexpected. Wish this wasn’t limited edition.
